Bayliner 1950 Capri Boat Cover Capri 1950 CL I/O (1994 - 2002) Taylor Made Custom Boat Cover

Removing from box, all looks good, material looks nice, has air flaps. Fitted for 1999 Bayliner Capri 1950 - cinch rope is very cumbersome when it comes swim step in the rear. I have to remove the rope from the sleeve and then feed it back through using a coat hanger each time I put it on. I now just bypass the swim step portion and have added separate tie down straps to the swim step flap piece to secure it. The overall fit is not impressive since it is a custom fit specifically for my model and fits snug but not tight. I have had in the past better heavy-duty canvas covers that fit much better. Living in California, we recently had very unusual heavy rains that followed the days after I installed the cover. Even though the cover is pulled "tight" (snug) with all tie down straps, roped cinched tight, and I have the a center post (made for covers) propping up the middle to prevent low-spot puddles, I still had a couple buckets of water I had to bail out of the boat, so I cannot say it is waterproof as marketed. I now have a much cheaper cover from Walmart over it to solve the issue. It is more likely 3 stars in more typical California weather conditions, but I rated it a 2 because it failed when it was needed most. I will not buy a second one for sure.
