After noting that the last semi-custom cover I bought for my 170 Sailfish was the correct length, but not quite wide enough, I thought that this cover would be just right. Boy was I wrong!! Going from 78" beam width to 90" beam width should have given me an extra 6" on each side. Not sure who cut this, but the cover sides are skimming the water, a NO GO. The reinforced area that should be at the console is a good 2 feet forward and the vents are where the reinforcement should be, another NO GO. Then there's the over all length. TOO long and no way to take up the slack up front, due to the absence of a bow loop, and the notch for the outboard motor limits how much can be taken up in the back, a resounding NO GO!! If I kept my boat on a trailer, this cover MIGHT work, but seeing as it's kept in an open bunk at the marina, it's totally inadequate.
